Novel Summary (From Amagi Brilliant Park Wiki Page):

Seiya Kanie is a good looking, perfectionist boy who is forced by the mysterious Isuzu Sento to visit an amusement park named Amagi Brilliant Park, which is in serious financial trouble and about to be closed forever. The park is actually staffed by refugees from a magical realm called Maple Land, and the park is a facility for harvesting magical energy from visitors while they’re having fun. As such, the park is the only way the refugees can maintain their existence in the human realm.

To save the park from closing, Seiya is hired by the owner, Latifa Fleuranza, to use his skills in entertainment to become its new manager. However, to not lose the land to a real estate agency, they have only three months left to attract 250,000 visitors, a feat that seems impossible given the park’s current situation.

I’m sure many of you will be happy to see Amagi Brilliant Park as part of our lineup. The novel is written by Gatou Shouji of Full Metal Panic fame and is coming straight off of a successful anime run, so to say it’s an anticipated undertaking would be a huge understatement. Also, Bonta-kun <3! SoraSky has already done a great job with it too, so go right now and check it out and thank him for all his hard work :).

Well, I’ve bored you enough with details. Get to reading!

  1. Yes~!!! Finally~!!! Glad to see AmaBuri got translated, the anime was cool!!! Love the novel art (didn’t expect this, cuz I only know her from her doujin) look forward to this project~

  2. The anime is good…
But the novel is spoiled bigtime by the anime right?
You sure you wanna pick it up? And going through them from the beginning, explaining it word by word..

  3. I’m not happy at all.
Let’s sum the anime: heavy fanservice, moe, using Bonta-kun (and mentioning other FMP related stuff), no story, no interesting characters… I didn’t found any good points in this series. If it would done by another studio no one probably would touch it with stick.

Maybe moe and fanservice sells, but it’s shame this get so much attention and Cop Craft: Dragnet Mirage Reloaded that story synopsis look so much better that Amagi gets completely ignored.
